They are physically tough and mentally disciplined, but that’s only a shadow of the greater gift they provide to those who follow them.

We’re not talking about the transmutation of base metal into gold. No, this is something far more precious. It’s the art of mental chemistry where the adept is able to change and transform mental states, forms, and conditions, into others.
Members of the Mastermind embrace the philosophy of the seven Hermetic Principles. The first is the Principle of Mentalism. “THE ALL is Mind”.
We believe that the underlying reality of the universe is mind; and the universe itself is mental. That means that everything exists in the mind of Infinite Intelligence.
The Nature of the Universe
If the universe is mental in nature then mental transmutation is the art of changing the conditions of the universe, along the lines of matter, force and mind. By understanding and mastering this principle, the philosophy teaches us to believe we are able to control not just “mental”, but, material conditions as well.
By knowing that thoughts are things, we deduce that we can form images in our minds and by communicating with The All, in a certain way, we can cause the things we think about to be created.
The key to causing our thoughts to take physical form is thinking and acting in a precisely proscribed manner. There is nothing haphazard or accidental about it and it requires focus, concentration, energy and patient, methodical application.
