Get knocked down seven times; stand up eight

Chris Pilgrim’s life is like a country and western song. He’s been the windshield. He’s been the bug.
He’s had his shares of ups and downs. He’s owned some prime vacation real estate in the mountains and the islands and lost it to misfortune. He’s been the top producer for a large corporation and been fired for making his boss look wrong by recruiting a client the boss believed was unattainable.
He’s also scaled the demanding peaks of the network marketing business to the top ranks in his company and just as he was on the precipice of achieving financial freedom, had it ripped away by massive corporate incompetence that sent his company into a tailspin.
Through it all Chris has held to a principle. Napoleon Hill calls it the eighth step towards riches. Persistence is the sustained effort necessary to induce faith. It is an essential factor in the process of transmuting desire into its monetary equivalent. It’s based on the power of will.

Will power is one of the mental faculties required to develop a disciplined mind. When it’s properly combined with desire it makes an irresistible pair and almost certainly assures the attainment of your objective.
Most people throw their hopes and dreams overboard at the fist sign of adversity and go screaming into the night like frightened children needing to be comforted in their mothers arms. The select few put their shoulder down and power on, determined to carry on despite any adversity. Put Chris in the later camp.
Chris has set his mind on the accumulation of a great fortune and as a student of the science of the mind he knows that a burning desire is the starting point of all great achievement. He has built a bonfire of desire and is among the top two percent of achievers because he’s taken specific action.
He has a definite goal at it which he’s aiming, and a definite plan for its attainment. It’s written and clearly states the stages for each achievement. He’s reduced his plan to a simple affirmation that he reads aloud daily with the conviction to get what he wants and he’s taking action daily toward the attainment of his desire.
He’s like a dog with a bone. Anyone who tries to steal his dreams and desires does so at their own peril. He has developed the fixed habit of emotionalizing his goals and keeps them constantly in the forefront of his mind.
By doing this Chris is setting an example for others to follow. Because of his desire, persistence and faith in what he’s doing, he’s attracting some very high caliber achievers to join his team.
He’s also using the power of the Mastermind to strengthen his resolve and receive the coordination of knowledge and effort required for the realization of his goals.
